Is it scary?
We do our best to scare all of our patrons, but fear is relative – if you come through determined not to be scared, you probably won’t. Either way, you’ll certainly be entertained, especially if you bring someone else who will be scared.

Where should I park?
Free parking is provided at the attraction, and our parking staff will direct you when you arrive. We encourage carpooling whenever possible.

If I am in line at closing time, will I still get in?
Yes, if you have a ticket you will get to go through the haunt.

Will I be touched?
We don’t intentionally touch our guests – we’re scary enough that we don’t need to. You may accidentally bump into or brush against an actor or prop, though – the Barn is a very dark environment, after all.

How long does it take to go through?
The length of the show varies greatly depending on the speed of your group.

Should I bring my kids?
We don’t recommend the show for young children, but we leave that decision up to the parents. However, children under 12 are not allowed to enter without an adult, and we do not allow children to be carried through the haunt for their own safety. We do not allow infants or toddler inside the barn, so please plan accordingly.

How many people can go through at a time?
The maximum size for a group is 6 people – Avondale Haunted Barn is a very intense experience, and larger groups would only take away from the quality of the show.

I have a health condition, should I go through the attraction?
We do not recommend entering Avondale Haunted Barn for those who are pregnant, have heart conditions, have asthma, are epileptic, or have any other physical or mental health conditions that could be affected by entering a frightening and physically demanding environment.

What if I am too scared to go through the haunt?
Notify an actor that you are unable to continue, and you will be escorted out of the attraction by a staff member who will then proceed to make fun of you in front of your friends. Remember though, that there are NO REFUNDS any reason, even if you decide not to go through at all.

Is your attraction open if it rains?
Yes, Avondale Haunted Barn is an indoor attraction.

Can I wear a costume?
For your safety, costumes are only allowed for Avondale Haunted Barn employees.
